High School Summer Internships

For the last five years, SSYO has placed high school students in an internship capacity with local businesses. In partnership with Corvallis High School, students will gain one high-school credit for each 65 hours of supervised and certified work done for the employer. Employers also agree to pay a $200 stipend for the student's effort. Students have worked for such businesses as carpenters, mechanics, retail shops, plant nurseries, SSYO / Lincoln Summer School and computer software developers.
